De naam van het instituut staat op het dak: "Nationaal Luchtvaart Laboratorium". Het gebouw is in de jaren na 1965 aan de linkerkant op de foto uitgebreid. The first office building in the Marknesse premises of NLL. The name of the building in "De Vrije Vlucht" (The Free flight). The name of the institue is on the roof: "Nationaal Luchtvaart Laboratorium" (National Aeronautical Laboratory). The building has been expanded after 1965 at the left side. Zie ook foto nr. 00144.
