| Bijzonderheden | : | Deze tekening toont heel duidelijk de opbouw van de Eiffel-tunnel, de eerste windtunnel van de RSL (de voorloper van het NLR) uit 1919. Links de inlaatopening ('Bellmouth') die later is aangebracht, daarna de meetkamer met de opstelling van de externe balans boven de meetplaats. Daar weer achter de diffusor en het uitstroomgedeelte. Hiertussen bevindt zich de schroef aangedreven door de elektromotor helemaal rechts. This drawing clearly shows the layout of the Eiffel tunnel, the first wind tunnel of the Government Service for Aeronautical Studies (RSL, the predecessor of the NLR) built in 1919. On the left the entrance section with the 'bellmouth', that was added later, followed by the testchamber with the overhead balance on top of the test section. Next the diffusor section and the outflow part at the end. Between the last two elements the fan that drives the tunnel with the electromotor at the end.
