| Bijzonderheden | : | De schommeltafel was oorspronkelijk voorzien van drie ringen om elke draaibeweging te kunnen uitvoeren. Voor de onderhavige test (van de experimentele ESA-communicatiesatelliet Olympus) was een grotere kijkhoek van de zonsensor nodig, terwijl slechts twee draairichtingen voldoende waren. Rechts op carrouselfoto 1 staat een zonsimulator (met schoorsteenpijp) die via spiegels op de sensor schijnt. Het sensorpakket is identiek aan de vlucht hardware en is met kabels verbonden met de regelelektronica, die de "flight software" bevatte. The rocking table had originally three gimbals to execute any possible rotation. For the current test (of the experiments communication satellite Olympus of ESA) a larger field of view of the sun sensor was required, while only two degrees of freedom were sufficient. On the right of carousel photo 1 is a solar simulator (with the chimney), that shines through mirrors to the sensor. The sensor package is identical to the flight hardware and is connected by cables to the control equipment containing the flight software.
